NTA - Natural Therapy Advice

For over 20 years, NTA Health has helped adults, children and families find natural, practical solutions to complex health issues. Led by Sonia O’Donnell, a Naturopathic Homeopath, we combine homeopathy with naturopathic supports, nutrition and gentle lifestyle strategies to get to the root of the problem and help you feel better, sooner.

Our approach (integrative & personalised)

  • Homeopathy first: Carefully selected remedies to support your body’s own healing responses.

  • Naturopathic supports: Herbal formulas and food-state nutrients to strengthen organs and systems.

  • Clear plan, simple steps: Phased treatment so you know exactly what to do now and what comes next.

  • Gentle by design: We start where your body is—no “pushy” detoxing before you’re ready.

What we offer

Frequently asked questions

We have over 20 years’ experience of treating chronic illness this way. When looking back on past results, we can see that over 90% of clients get significant improvement when they complete the treatment programme we recommend. We also find that over 80% of clients achieve total remission of their presenting complaint within 18 months of commencing and completing a treatment programme.

Every case is different, but we estimate what the stages and timings of your recovery will be when we write your initial report and recommended treatment programme.

On average we find people with complex chronic conditions require 4-6 tests across an 18 month programme. Less serious health conditions may only need 2-3 tests to resolve.

For queries related to appointments, bookings, or general admin, please email support@ntahealth.co.uk – we aim to reply to messages within 2 working days.

We encourage clients to have a Health Assessment retest every 10-12 weeks. The retest questionnaire is your opportunity to update Sonia fully on any changes in symptoms and to raise any questions. Everything submitted via the questionnaire will be addressed in your new report. One Post-Report Query is included with each assessment, allowing you to submit questions about understanding your test results and updated treatment plan.

If you have questions in between tests and would like further input from Sonia, this can be accessed in one of the following ways:

  1. Book a phone / video call consultation (from £30)
  2. Submit a Treatment Review Request via Practice Better (written, no call, from £30)

Please note that ongoing access to Sonia by email or other messaging is not included in our service.

The answers to many common questions are in the FAQ article on our blog page.

For acute homeopathic support between reviews, please contact an acute homeopathy service via a homeopathic pharmacy such as Helios Homeopathy or Ainsworths. These services are set up to help with short-term symptom flares and can advise on appropriate remedies at the time.

Our practitioner analyses all the clinical and test information, then writes your report and recommended treatment programme (this takes 3-4 weeks).

There is a small possibility that your symptoms could worsen for a few days after starting the remedies. This is a normal part of the healing process but we aim to avoid this if possible. If this happens you should stop taking the treatments or remedies that you introduced most recently and wait for 3 days before restarting them.
