Advice for between tests

Advice Between Tests

This guidance is designed to support you between your scheduled tests. It should be used alongside appropriate medical care and does not replace advice from your GP or healthcare provider.

Most changes experienced during treatment are temporary and part of your body adjusting.

If you feel unsure at any stage, please refer to the guidance below.

If you’re experiencing symptoms

Symptoms you’ve had before

If you’re experiencing symptoms you’ve had previously, you may use a remedy that has helped you before, as long as:

  • It is included in your homeopathy first aid kit, or
  • It has been recommended in your previous report for use as needed

New or worsening symptoms after starting a remedy

If a newly introduced remedy seems to be making your symptoms worse:

  • Pause the remedy for 3 days
  • Reintroduce it on its own

If the same reaction occurs again, discontinue use and contact us at support@ntahealth.co.uk for advice.

If you feel generally unwell or unsure

If you feel generally unwell or are unsure whether your symptoms are related to your treatment plan:

  • Pause all remedies for 3 days
  • Reintroduce one item at a time

This helps you clearly understand how your body is responding.

Old symptoms returning

Sometimes, previous symptoms may return temporarily during treatment.

This can be part of the process, but if symptoms feel severe or concerning, please seek medical advice.

New symptoms you haven’t experienced before

If you develop new symptoms:

  • Start by selecting a remedy from your homeopathy first aid kit using the guidance provided
  • You can also use the Ainsworth Pharmacy Remedy Selector tool or contact Ainsworth or Helios pharmacies for support

If your symptoms don’t improve

If first aid remedies don’t provide relief, you may wish to:

  • Contact your GP or primary care provider
  • Seek individualised advice from a homeopath (e.g. Homeopathy247, Helios, or Ainsworth)
  • Book a video consultation with Sonia
  • Book in for a Treatment Review
  • Bring forward your next retest

Support is provided through your report guidance, rather than ongoing messaging, so that your progress can be reviewed fully at each stage.

When to seek medical support

If your symptoms are:

  • Severe
  • Worsening
  • Persistent
  • Concerning

Please contact your GP or appropriate healthcare provider.

For urgent or emergency situations, contact emergency services.
