Bio-resonance Testing

SCIO Bio-resonance – What it is and Why I use it

The bioresonance system I use is called the SCIO (Scientific Consciousness Interface Operation). It is a type of advanced biofeedback device that measures how the body or sample is affected by very gentle electrical signals. It does not diagnose illness; instead, it identifies where the body is under stress and which systems are working the hardest to compensate.

Conventional tests look for structural change (for example, blood abnormalities, organ damage or inflammation). The SCIO works one step earlier – it reads very detailed information about stress in body systems, which shows up before disease develops. This is particularly useful in chronic, unexplained or multi-factorial health issues where symptoms are real, but standard tests may look “normal.”

How it works

The SCIO measures how the body or sample is affected by the frequency of over 20,000 different test items. With remote testing, the saliva sample is used to identify the client so the system can run a regulation assessment specific to that person. It then introduces a series of informational signals and measures how efficiently the body’s regulatory system would stabilise in response. From this, we can see which organs or systems are carrying the highest load, and what the body is working hardest to compensate for.
Rather than looking for disease, it shows where regulation is struggling, which is often the earliest sign of an underlying problem.

Many frequency tools can only compare a sample to a database and report what matches and what doesn’t. The SCIO goes much further by running a biofeedback loop. This means it can evaluate reactivity, recovery and stabilisation and connect information together in a more meaningful way. Clinically, that provides a priority map of where support is needed and what the priority areas are to support first.

Why this matters

Many people with chronic fatigue, hormone disruption, skin issues, digestive problems, nervous system symptoms, or unexplained sensitivities have underlying burdens that are not visible on standard tests. These may include:

  • mould or mycotoxin exposure
  • low-grade or latent infections (viral, fungal, parasitic, stealth infections)
  • toxic load / EMF sensitivity
  • adrenal/endocrine strain
  • autonomic nervous system dysregulation (fight/flight stuck “on”)

By identifying the priority stressors, I can suggest how to support the body in the right order, rather than guessing or treating everything at once. This improves tolerance and speeds recovery because the body is no longer overwhelmed.

If you have a test with us, the information and suggestions that we will provide afterwards are not intended to replace standard medical advice. You should continue with all medication and recommendations for testing from your main healthcare provider. Nothing that we might suggest is contraindicated with mainstream medicines or procedures, unless specifically stated otherwise.

Who else uses SCIO?

Although most used in naturopathic healthcare settings around the world, SCIO-type biofeedback has also been used in elite performance settings, including:

  • A published conference abstract documenting use with the Chinese Olympic Team during the Beijing Games
  • The AC Milan medical programme (Milan Lab) for player recovery and injury prevention

I have also used the SCIO personally with Olympic-level athletes. High-performance environments rely on quick detection and prioritisation of problem areas, which is exactly what SCIO excels at.

Is there research behind it?

The SCIO is supported by what is known as practice-based evidence — very large datasets from real-world clinical use showing improvements in stress reactivity, resilience and autonomic stability. The manufacturer classifies it as a biofeedback and stress-reduction device, which is why it is widely used in integrative and functional medicine settings.

Scope and safety

The SCIO is non-invasive, gentle, and safe for adults and children.
It does not diagnose disease.
It is best used to map stress patterns, clarify the “why” behind symptoms, and guide the order in which the body can be supported.

Summary

Blood tests show a bit about what has already changed.
SCIO shows in detail what has changed, what is the underlying cause of the change is and what needs to happen to bring everything back into balance.
This means we can treat the cause of the problem, not just the symptom pattern.

We help hundreds of people every year with our test results and treatment suggestions, and we are proud to say that over 90% of our new clients come via personal recommendation. If you have a health condition your GP hasn’t been able to help with, then we hope that you will decide to give our service a try and see the rewards for yourself.
